Who is Drawing the Fans!
Though the Rage D'Homme were able to eke a victory from the nearly over-powering Darktower Slayers, no one predicted it before the game. The Rage drew only 9,000 of their own fans. With the NWLs lowest FF of 5, the Rage continue to struggle at the box office, barely drawing over 20,000 fan per game this season. If their Fan Factor continues to drop, the team may not be viable for many more seasons. On the other end of the spectrum, the high-flying offence of the Wild Ones, who scored another 5 TDs in their latest game, regularly bring in more than 78,000 fans, nearly four times the Rages average draw and almost as many per game as the three lowest teams combined. Doing the most with what they've got are the Arabica Knights, with the league's highest average draw per fan factor.

The Harbingers of Doom defeated Athena's Avenges without much excitement. Even though the weather was nice the Harbingers suffered Doom and Gloom cutting their re-rolls for the first half. The Avengers Palmed the Coin and chose to receive. The Amazons had early ball trouble and were forced to close ranks allowing the Harbingers to close ranks and keep the first half scoreless. The Harbingers held on to the ball and scored late in the second half to pull off the victory.

The Deathrow Posse fell to the Wild Ones in a stunning shutout. Harvey Treeman was Buzzing for the match giving him Jump Up and Frenzy. The weather was nice and the Wild Ones scored early and often getting several Blitzes! to help along the way. The Posse didn't make any glairing errors that caused them to lose the game, nor did they complete a single scoring drive.

The Skaven Skrewballz scratched and scurried their way to victory over the Tombstone Terrors. The weather was nice and Verminous Fang (a Storm Vermin) had Knuckledusters for this match giving him Mighty Blow. The Skrewballz received to start and scored right away. Horrorhotep (a Mummy) was pounding rats into the field all day. He ended the day having four Casualties including Fracturing the Arm of Retch Grossman (a Skaven Thrower) and the Concussion of Crusher Bloodclot (a Storm Vermin) both of whom are expected to Miss the Next Game. The Skrewballz used a Perfect Defense to start the second half but couldn't get to the ball right away. It took having to push Carnivorous Carl (a Ghoul) into the crowd with the ball and the fans throwing it back to the Skrewballz side before Shirty Garbageater (a Gutter Runner) could get his hands on the ball and score. The Terrors scored again to force overtime and chose to receive the ball. The Skrewballz took advantage of the Terror's one-sided formation with an on-sides kick followed by a Blitz! The rats swarmed to surround the ball before the Terrors could make a move.

The Blood River Savages fell to the Tanglewood Titans for their fourth loss of the season. The Savages suffered Doom and Gloom cutting their re-rolls in half for the first half. Tuf Skul (an Orc Blitzer) was struck with Morley's Revenge but didnt miss any playing time until the second half. The Titans pulled a young Dragon Warrior from the stands to play on their side for the game and That Boy's Got Talent. The Titans received first and scored quickly. Then the Savages Got the Ref. The Orcs took full advantage of having Get The Ref but didn't seem to notice, or even care, that they brought in another Ref at halftime. The new Ref threw two Orcs from the pitch in the second half.

The Rage D'Homme crushed the Darktower Slayers in a stunning upset. There were very few fans in attendance with a record low gate for the Amazons. The Rage Bribed the Ref to ignore their first foul and Palmed the Coin choosing to receive the ball first. The Slayers had trouble moving the ball (and their turn marker) and didn't score until the end of the second half to tie the game thinking it would be overtime for sure. The Rage rallied scoring again on the last turn of the game for victory.
