Despite the fact that the Bombers received 3 handicap rolls, one of which denied the opportunity to foul to the Wild Ones, they were shut down 0 - 4 by the wily and dexterous Wild Ones. The game was primarily a passing game with both teams working the quick snaps. The Bombers had two players ejected for committing fouls. The Wild Ones managed to score repeatedly with a aggressive game of rapid movement down the pitch supported by a solid passing game.

The Skaven Skrewballz shut the Dark Tower Slayers down 3 - 0 with a strong passing and scurrying game. This was despite the fact that Crusher Bloodclot was ejected form the game for committing a foul. The angry Skrewballz fans beat up several referees demonstrating their anger with this call. The Slayers demonstrated solid passing skills, but were unable to reach the end zone. The game was played in pouring rain during the first half, causing some ball handling issues.

The Tombstone Terrors bulled their way to victory despite a very aggressive Backwata Bashas blocking game. Play consisted primarily of a slugfest for control of the pitch, with the occasional run by a Terrors Ghoul for the Bashas End Zone. The Backwata Bashas knocked a tremendous number of Tombstone Terrors players to the ground, but were unable to cause their normal record number of casualties.

The nimble and tenacious Stygian Abyss lost 1 - 2 against the rough and ready Deathrow Posse. The game was a viscous blocking match with the Posse smashing their way down the field. The Abyss managed to pull off some amazing dodging plays, but were unable to hold back the advance of the Posse. Each team made only a single pass during play. Rumor had it that the Stygian Abyss bribed a Weather Wizard to make sure it was a nice day. These allegations remain unproven. The Deathrow Posse suffered a casualty at the Hands of the Abyss with Swifty (Thrower) losing 1 Movement Point after having his hip smashed by Haavy Darkwall.
