The Backwata Bashas were defeated by the Skaven Skrewballz in a seriously contested scrum match. The Bashas were able to form a strong defensive cage but were unable to capitalize upon their brutal blocking efforts. The Skrewballz suffered from a large number of knocked out players. By the start of the 2nd half the Skaven Skrewballz had only 8 players on the pitch. One of the players that missed the 2nd half was Skruffy Upchuck, a Linerat and Kicker, who was ejected for a foul committed in the 1st half. The Bashas successfully argued the ejection of Ornery, a Black Orc Blocker, for fouling and prevented his ejection. The Skrewballz scored the winning touchdown at the end of the game with only 4 players on the pitch.

The Slayers received an Intensive Training Handicap Result and gave Kalreg Da Knocka, a Block Orc Blocker, Tackle for the game. The Wild Ones Siren Highhair was ejected early in the second half after committing his 3rd foul. Neither team inflicted a significant number of casualties. The Tombstone Terrors were defeated by the Chaos Crushers in a grueling overtime contest. The Crushers tied the game late in the second half and were able to receive the ball during overtime to win the game. The Terrors received the handicap result Illegal Drugs, which was used to give Nashing Norman, a Ghoul, Agility +1 for the game. The Chaos Crushers Horus Braineater, a Beastman, missed the game due to his niggling injury. The Tombstone Terrors Horrorhotep, a Mummy, would have slain Souleater Grimm, a Chaos Warrior, if not for the intervention the team apothecary. In spite of the 3 casualties inflicted by their Mummies and 4 completed passes, the Terrors were unable to prevent the Crushers from tying the game. The Chaos Crushers pressed down the field in a solid cage formation and took the win with aggressive blocking after winning the Overtime Coin Toss.

The Athena's Avengers were defeated by Rage D'Homme in a wrestling match for the pitch. Both teams had trouble with a number of Knocked Out players not returning to play at the beginning of the second half. The Avengers game was plagued by ball handling issues. The Rage D'Home managed to make solid use of ball position and controlled scoring during both halves. The occasional block punctuated the game as series of passes and rushes unfolded.

The Harbingers of Doom were defeated by the Blood River Savages in a one sided contest. A Handicap Result caused The Harbingers Curly Zonker, a Catcher, to suffer from Duh, Where Am I, giving him Bonehead for the game. By halfway through the first half the Blood River Savages had already inflicted 3 of the 4 casualties for the game. The Harbingers of Doom were plagued by great difficulties with ball handling and were not able to pick up or throw the ball and had blocking issues as well. In addition 2 players were out of play due to dodging problems, 1 in early in the 1st half and 1 early in the second half. There were 6 injured Harbingers by the end of the game and could only field 5 players in the last turns of the game. The Harbingers of Doom lost Razor Lewis to a failed Dodge attempt and elected not to use their Apothecary to save him.
