The Backwata Bashas were defeated by the Darktower Slayers in a scrum heavy match. Neither team engaged in ball movement until the final turns of the match, when the Slayers passed the ball into the endzone to score. The game resembled more of a pitched battle than a blood bowl match. The opening kickoff landed on the line of scrimmage directly in from of the Dark Tower Slayers line. Despite a large number of Blocks thrown during the game the Backwata Bashas were unable to inflict casualties. The Slayers received two handicap results. Two Bashas players Dirty and Stupid suffered from Morleys Revenge and missed most of the game and the Slayers Vorag Stuntybasha gained Ironman for the game.

Athena's Avengers were defeated by the Deathrow Posse in a tight back and forth match. The Avengers were ahead at the beginning of each half and the Posse scored at the end of the each half, tying the game up the second time and pushing the match into overtime. The Deathrow Posse won the coin toss and received the ball managing to win by making careful progress into the endzone. There were two handicaps for the Avengers: Mariann White, a Linewoman, was Buzzing and Karen Hamilton, a Linewoman, gained Knuckledusters. After the first Athena's Avengers touchdown there was a Pitch Invasion that left 2 Posse and 3 Avengers players stunned.

The Tombstone Terrors were defeated by the Skaven Skrewballz in a match that started out slow and then turned out to be a high scoring game. The Terrors received the ball and initiated a slow drive down the pitch to score. The Skrewballz scored quickly to ties up the first half and then opened the second half with a quick score. The Terrors tied up the game in turn 8 of the second half to force the game into overtime. The Skaven Skrewballz won the coin toss and proceeded to score again and win the game. Eternal Deathwalker, a Tombstone Terrors Mummy, inflicted 3 casualties two of whom are missing the next game and the third being saved by the team apothecary.

The Harbingers of Doom defeated the Rage D'Homme in a close match. Two of the Rage players were injured while Dodging. Emberlast, a Blitzer, would have been killed without the intervention of the team apothecary. In the first half Rage D'Homme completed a risky Long Pass to tie up the match. The Harbingers obtained a Got the Ref kickoff result and played dirty with 7 fouls in the second half. One Dirty Trick resulted in Emberlast, a Blitzer, being Badly Hurt. The game involved a series of tight scrums broken up with runs and passes to the flanks.

The Chaos Crushers lost to the Wild Ones in a tight back in forth match that was concluded in Overtime. The Wild Ones has 3 players ejected for committing Dirty Tricks. The Crushers scored in turn 8 of the second half to tie up the game thanks to the heroic efforts of Rabbar One Eye, a Beastman. Lorellon Branchbreaker, a Wild Ones Lineelf, broke free from the scum for the winning Touchdown in Overtime. 4 blocking casualties were inflicted during play. The Wild Ones inflicted 3 of these and the Chaos Crushers caused 1.

The Arabica Knights defeated the Blood River Savages in a trying contest of brawn vs agility. The Knights dodged in and out of tackle zones seemingly at will. Big Gutz, a Savages Black Orc Blocker, missed the game due to an arrest for drunk and disorderly conduct and Kaz Trater, a Savages Blizter, spent the majority of the game in the K.O. box. The game was played in Sweltering Heat during the first kickoff. Tuff Skull, a Blood River Savages Lineorc, was injured and received a damaged back after being pushed into the crowd. He was later retired. Despite the strong efforts of the Savage to create a solid scrum the Knights were able dexterously break loose and carry the ball down field to score in the second half. After the only score of the game the rowdy crowd showed their displeasure by throwing a rock and stunning Count Caremel, a Arabica Knights Linelf.
