The Skaven Skrewballz defeated the Rage D'Homme in a scurrying display of why the Skaven are so hated. Silver Frond (a Blitzer) got Intensive Training and gained Mighty Blow for this game. Twice in the first half the Rage received the ball and started down the field only to find themselves swarmed as soon as they crossed midfield. The Skrewballz knocked the ball loose and ran for the end zone to score twice before halftime. The Rage took to their usual brutal force and Dirty Tricked Crusher Bloodclot (a Storm Vermin) Badly Hurting him, keeping him out for the second half of the match. Snot Flicker (a Thrower) also fell victim and was killed only to be saved by the team Apothecary. When the game was almost over and the outcome all but finalized Meri Dead I (a Thrower) was blocked and killed by Skruffy Upchuck (a Linerat). The Rage's apothecary had already packed up in anticipation of the end of the match and was not able to get to Meri in time to save her.

Skaven Skrewballz Notes

The Skaven Skrewballz had two star player gains with Fester O'Pustule (a Linerat) gaining +1AG and Germ Spitball (a Gutter Runner) gaining Leap. After the game Germ admitted that he was starting to feel his age and had lost some of his Agility. For the good of the team he decided to retire.

Rage D'Homme Notes

The Rage D'Homme had no star player gains. Gay Lee 4 (a Linewoman) retired from play but decided to stay with the team as an Assistant Coach. The team hired Tersa-Blu (a Thrower).

The Harbingers of Doom lost to the Chaos Crushers in a heavy blocking old fashion cage building up and beating down kind of match. After a strong negative press campaign aimed at the Harbingers the Crushers fans showed up ready to make their presence felt. Due to a Handicap result the Harbingers fan factor was cut in half for this game. The Crushers received the ball and proceeded to cage up and march down one side of the field. When the Harbingers walled up in their way the Crushers swung out and moved to the other side of the field managing to keep the cage formation all the way down and score in turn eight. The only casualty of the game came in turn six of the first half when Orlok the Growler (a Beastman) broke the jaw of Butch Green Jr. (a Lineman) who is expected to miss the next game. When the Harbingers received to start the second half one of the Crusher fans Threw a Rock and smashed the hand of Moe Zonker (a Catcher). Fortunately for the Harbingers their Apothecary was able to run out and keep him in the game. After receiving the ball the human catchers pushed down the field and got in position to score, but Dick Buttkick (a Blitzer) not once, but twice failed to catch a hand off in the back field and not only earned himself the nickname Butterfingers but was also informed that if his ball handling does not improve he will be released by the team. The Crushers took full advantage of the ball on the ground and scored again to end the second half.

Harbingers of Doom Notes

The Harbingers of Doom had one star player gain with Moe Zonker (a Catcher) gaining Block. The team had no new hires or actual firings.

Chaos Crushers Notes

The Chaos Crushers had two star player gains with Octavious Braineater (a Beastman of the notorious Braineater clan) getting +1MA and Titus Gore (a Chaos Warrior) gaining Block. There were no new hires for the team.

The Wild Ones trounced the Darktower Slayers in what seemed to be a teasing Elfish game that somewhat resembled the Human game duck, duck, goose with lots of circulating and tagging and then grabbing the ball and running away. There was a noticeable lack of the usual brutality on both sides of the ball. The Darktower Slayers Bribed the Ref and their first foul would have been ignored. The key problem for the Orcs was not in the throwing of the ball but in the catching of it, which on several occasions left the ball on the pitch for the Elves to scoop up and run away with. By the end of the game a number of the Slayers were so despondent that several rumors started circulating around the clubhouse about the possibility of their Bloodweiser having been spiked. At the start of the second half Narg Rockbreaka (a Blitzer) failed to sprint and fell so hard that he was fatally wounded and had to be saved by the team Apothecary. Neither team was willing to comment about any such rumors at this time.

Wild Ones Notes

The Wild Ones had one star player gain with Shoot Oakshade (a Wardancer) gaining Side Step. The team retired Valen Bushtrasher (a Lineelf) and hired Dirtii Dandylion (a Catcher).

Darktower Slayers Notes

The Darktower Slayers had one star player gain with Zegrik Widowmaka (a Black Orc Blocker) gaining Mighty Blow. Zilag Headsmasha (a Blitzer) fell while dodging, resulting in a Gouged Eye, and is expected to Miss Next Game. The team had no hiring or firings.

Athena's Avengers defeated the Blood River Savages in a match where for the first three quarters of the game the ball moved up and down the pitch slower then molasses in January. For the first half of the match it poured rain and only added to the player's difficulties in picking up and catching the ball. It was towards end of the match after the crowd had thrown the ball back into the end zone when Bear Jaws (a Black Orc Blocker) fell sprinting while trying to get to the ball for a touchdown. The Avenger's then managed to go end zone to end zone in the last few turns to seal the deal with the games only touchdown. The Savages Dirty Tricked early and often resulting in both Nee Kappa (a Lineorc) and Tuf Skul (a Blitzer) being caught and thrown out of the game.

Athena's Avengers had one star player gain with Ellen Wilson (a Linewoman) gaining Tackle. Marie O'Hare (a Linewoman) is expected to miss the next game with a gouged eye. The team's Fan Factor increased to 12.

Blood River Savages Notes

The Blood River Savages had one star player gain with Grabba Balz (a Blitzer) gaining Guard. Smash Skul (a Lineorc) is expected to miss the next game with a concussion.

The Arabica Knights defeated the Backwata Bashas with little ball moving and High Elf dodging and dodging and dodging some more style of play. The Bashas suffered from Doom and Gloom, which cut their re-rolls in half for the first half. The Bashas had a hard time living up to their name and beating down the Elves like they wanted to because the Knights made a point of dodging away instead of standing up to any of the Orcs. Duke Sanani (a Dragon Warrior) scored the only touchdowns of the game both on the Knight's last play of each half.

The Tombstone Terrors defeated the Deathrow Posse in a brutally hard-hitting contest. The Deathrow Posse received the ball first and moved down the field but failed a hand off and then couldn't pick up the ball to score a touchdown. The Terrors then brought the pain starting with Eternal Deathwalker (a Mummy) Fracturing the Leg of Crazy Clyde (a Blitzer). Three more Posse players were Badly Hurt over the course of the game and at one point there were seven players in the KO'ed box.

Tombstone Terrors Notes

The Tombstone Terrors had two star player gains with Shrieking Soulsucker (a Wight) gaining Tackle and Tony Toebiter (a Ghoul) also gaining Tackle. Tony Toebiter decided to retire citing a niggling injury as the reason. The team also retired all Cheerleaders and all but one Assistant Coaches. Mangy Marvin (a Ghoul) was hired as Tony's replacement.

Deathrow Posse Notes

The Deathrow Posse had no skill increases and there will be no team executions for now.
