The Chaos Crushers pounded the Rage D'Homme in a match where Nuffle clearly favored one side. The game started out Very Sunny but later clouded over just enough to make it Nice. The Crushers had some Bad Press that cut their Fan Factor in half for this match. The Crushers received first and started knocking Amazons off the pitch left and right. Titus Gore (Chaos Warrior) started on the first turn by Badly Hurting Branka Vich (Linewoman) and a few turns later Octavious Braineater (Beastman) crowd surfed Air Oh Shell (Amazon Catcher). Even Silver Frond (Amazon Blitzer) who was the biggest cog in the Crushers wheeling cage formation most of the game was K'Oed late in the first half and them Badly Hurt towards the end of the second. Only six Amazons were still on the field at the end of the first half. Rabar One Eye (Beastman) was so excited that when the Crushers got a Blitz! in the second half he ran down the field and blitzed before any of his teammates could move into position. He then fell Going For It to try to reach the ball.

Rage D'Homme Notes

Rage D'Homme had one star player gain with Hom Lee-G (Amazon Blitzer) gaining Guard. Yetta Meeta had her Ankle Smashed and is expected to miss the next game as well as -1 MA.

The Darktower Slayers defeated Athena's Avengers in a grueling overtime nail biter. Arachne (Amazon Blitzer) was already missing the game due to the Fractured Leg she suffered due to a Dirty Trick from the previous game with the Wild Ones and Athena (Amazon Blitzer) also sat out due to her Niggling Injury. The Avengers received and scored first. The Slayers managed to score before the end of the first half but neither team could score in the second half. After inflicting several casualties the Slayers finally scored the winning touchdown late in overtime.

Darktower Slayers Notes

The Darktower Slayers had two star player gains with Dazig Chestsmasha (Black Orc Blocker) and Shadag Facerippa (Lineorc) both gaining Block. The team hired Tagik Throttlepork (Thrower).

Athena's Avengers Notes

Athena's Avengers had one star player gain with Helene (Amazon Blitzer) gaining Guard. Ellen Wilson (Amazon Linewoman) is expected to miss the next game due to a Broken Jaw she got when she failed a dodge. Mariann White (Amazon Lineman) decided to retire.

The Wild Ones upset the Tombstone Terrors in a brutal display of Dirty Tricking. Branch Facesnap (Wardancer) snuck some Knuckledusters on to the pitch giving him Mighty Blow for this match. The Wild Ones succeeded in Bribing the Ref but by the end of the second half when Sieran Highhair (Lineelf)Dirty Tricked for the fifth time getting his fourth Casualty the Ref finally sent him off the field. The Terrors Freebooted Grotesque Gordan (Zombie) who was Badly Hurt on the very first turn by Highhair's first foul. The only luck for the Terrors was that the one death, Vomit Belcher (Zombie) Regenerated. Even the crowd got in on the fun when at the beginning of the second half a Thrown Rock KO'd Eternal Deathwalker (Mummy) and he never returned to the game. The Undead had six players left on the field at the end of regulation. The game was pushed to overtime and the Terrors received. A one sided formation by the Terrors and a short kickoff helped the Wild Ones get to the ball quickly and score first for the win.

The Wild Ones had one star player gain with Melgolas Stouttree (Lineelf) gaining Dodge. Flaming Branchflicker (Elf Catcher) is expected to miss the next game. The team hired Illyrion Thornlicker (Lineelf).

Tombstone Terrors Notes

The Tombstone Terrors had no star player gains. The team retired Mangy Marvin (Ghoul). The team made a $145K donation to the Red Cross.

The Backwata Bashas smashed the Skaven Skrewballz in an Orcing Orc Orc of an Orcy game. The Bashas received first and caged up and pushed down the field to eventually score. The Skrewballz scored back quickly and then held the Orcs back to end the first half tied at one. The Skaven scored quickly again to start the second half. When the Bashas received next the first thing they did was Badly Hurt three Skaven in one turn. With Crusher Bloodclot (Storm Vermin) already Badly Hurt and several Skaven Linerats refusing to leave the KO'd box and return to the field the Orcs caged up again and pushed down the field with no serious resistance to score again and force the game to overtime. The Skrewballz won the coin toss and chose to receive the ball in overtime. Poor ball handling by the Skaven Gutter Runners and being down in numbers sealed the deal for the Orcs in overtime. The one high point for the Skaven was when Abscess Bilespew (Linerat with Horns) Seriously Injured Ornery (Black Orc Blocker) who had managed to picked up the ball. At the end of the game there were five Skaven in the Injury Box and five in the KO'd Box. Overall a classic Orc win for the Backwata Bashas.

The Backwata Bashas had three star player gains. Dirty (Orc Blitzer) gained Tackle, Horny (Black Orc Blocker) gained Block, and Dim (Black Orc Blocker) gained +1 MA. The team hired Squishy (Goblin) and flushed one team re-roll.

Skaven Skrewballz Notes

The Skrewballz had no star player gains. Rip Rulebreaker (Linerat) will miss the next game and is expected to suffer -1 MA.

The Deathrow Posse squeaked out a win against the Blood River Savaged in the last turn of regulation. Blood Axe (Black Orc Blocker) was Buzzing for this match giving him Jump Up and Frenzy. Handsome Jack (Human Catcher) and Candyman (Human Lineman) both declared I Am The Greatest for this match refusing to set foot on the pitch at the same time. The Posse were feeling Doom and Gloom cutting their re-rolls in half for the first half. The Savages received first but the crowd decided to show their displeasure and Invaded the Pitch stunning four Orcs and only one Human. The Posse scored late in the first half and the Savages scored late in the second half leaving only two turns for the humans to score and avoid overtime. Felicia Felony (Human Catcher) saved the day for the posse and scored the final touchdown.

Deathrow Posse Notes

The Deathrow Posse had one star player gain with Felicia Felony (Human Catcher) gaining Side Step. Candyman (Human Lineman) decided to retire due to a niggling injury in addition to the 1 MA he already suffered from. The team hired John Doe (Lineman).

The dodginess of the Arabica Knights aided in edging out a win over the Harbingers of Doom in the battle wrought with failed agility rolls and inaccurate passes. The Knights received first and held possession to score first. Simon Sez-Die (Human Lineman) was caught Dirty Tricking at the very beginning of the game and thrown out by the ref. Ozzy Gruesome (Human Catcher) also missed most of the match after being Badly Hurt by Duke Sanani (Dragon Warrior) in turn four. After kicking off to start the second half the Knights held up the Doom and eventually took back the ball and scored. The Doom had to score quickly to prevent being shutout.

Arabica Knights Notes

The Arabica Knights had two star player gains with Rex Ristretto (Dragon Warrior) gaining Side Step and Buzz the Baron (Lion Warrior) gaining +1 AG. Magus Clover (Lineelf) is expected to miss the next game with a gouged eye.
