Athena's Avengers were defeated by the Tombstone Terrors for the second time this season. Susan Smith (an Amazon Linewoman) was Inspired for this game and gained Block. The Avengers also Bribed The Ref. The Avengers stuck to their game plan of relying on their Dodge and using the air attack but it proved ineffective against the strength of the Terrors. The Terrors both Dirty Tricked and Crowd Surfed the Avengers off the pitch. That and the normal Undead Casualties that are usually accrued (two for Eternal Deathwalker (a Mummy)) were enough to stifle the Avengers offence.

Athena's Avengers hired Kelly Winslow (a Linewoman). Kelly Anderson (a Linewoman) has decided to retire after receiving a Smashed Hand. Karen Jones (a Linewoman) is expected to miss the next game.

The Chaos Crushers squeezed out another overtime win against the Arabica Knights. The Knight had some Bad Press cutting their Fan Factor in half for this game. There were no major injuries (only Badly Hurts) and only one Dirty Trick the entire game. The Crushers could only field nine players going into overtime. Some of the Knights fans cried foul at the overtime coin toss but upon examination of the rules it was determined that nothing inappropriate had transpired.

The Backwata Bashas and the Rage D' Homme battled through overtime to settle in a tie. Squishy (a Goblin) showed up to his first game Boneheaded. The crowd Threw a Rock to start off the game and stunned Silver Frond (an Amazon Blitzer). The pitch was soon red with blood from seven total Casualties including one dead Orc. The only Dirty Trick of the game resulted in another dead Orc.

The Wild Ones defeated the Deathrow Posse three touchdowns to one. Branch Facesnap (a Wardancer) took Illegal Drugs gaining +1 ST and also Ironman for this match only. Scary Mary (a Human Catcher) sat out this match due to a previous Injury. After the Posse made their first and only Dirty Trick of the game Sieran Highhair (a Lineelf) showed his usual elfness and Dirty Tricked three times including the Wild Ones very last turn.

The Skaven Skrewballz were dismantled by the Harbingers of Doom in a bloody massacre. A Virus swept the Skrewballz clubhouse before the match to no effect. Abscess Bilespew (a Linerat) was given a Serious Concussion by John Hammer (a Human Blitzer). Spewer Gatorbait (a Linerat) had his Eye Gouged by Bruise Schmidt (a Human Lineman). The Harbingers Dirty Tricked right up to the very last turn of the match. Despite the Nice weather there was very little attendance to the game but word has spread quickly about the blood bath and tickets are selling quickly for both teams.

The Skaven Skrewballz had two star player gains with Speedy Katpoker (a Gutter Runner) and Skruffy Upchuck (a Linerat) both gaining Block. Abscess Bilespew and Spewer Gatorbait (both Linerats) are both expected to miss the next game.

The Darktower Slayers defeated the Blood River Savages in another exciting Orc vs Orc battle. The Savages had several opportunities to win but they slipped through their grasp allowing the Slayers to push to overtime where they prevailed. The only casualty came late in the second half when Blood Axe (a Savages Black Orc Blocker) blocked and Killed Shadag Facerippa (a Slayers Lineorc). The Slayers Apothecary was able to save him.

The Darktower Slayers had one star player gain with Kadzug da Kruncka (a Blitzer) gaining +1 AG. The team bought one Re-Roll.

Due to a forfeit the Blood River Savages were fined one Fan Factor and 30K gold before the match. The Savages had one star player gain with Blood Axe (a Black Orc Blocker) gaining +1 MA.
