The Harbingers of Doom defeated the Rage D'Homme to clinch their playoff spot. The game was played in a freakish summer Blizzard making Going For It more difficult and longer passes downright impossible. Warren Zapp (a Human Blitzer) missed the game after being arrested. Silver Fond (a Amazon Blitzer) had Knuckledusters for this game giving her Mighty Blow. The Rage received to start the game and prepared to advance first with Tersa-Blu (a Amazon Thrower) Badly Hurting Moe Zonker (a Human Catcher) and then White Lotus (a Amazon Linewoman) Killing Andre Rippett (a Human Lineman). The Doom kept the Rage out of the end zone for the first half and with none of the KO'd Amazons returning the Doom scored late in the second half for the win.

The Backwata Bashas fell to the Chaos Crushers in a bittersweet overtime victory. It was Pouring Rain at the beginning of the match but cleared up to Nice before the end. Three of the Crushers suffered from Morley's Revenge; Orlok the Growler, Octavious Braineater (both Beastmen) and Zim (a Chaos Warrior). Late in the second half Rabar One Eye (a Beastman) was hit by Slimy (a Thrower) and suffered a Fractured Leg. Tongso Wong (a Beastman) was caught Fouling by the Ref and was thrown from the pitch.

The Backwata Bashas had one star player gain with Oily (a Black Orc Blocker) gaining Block. Oily is also expected to miss the next game with a Fractured Arm. The team hired Bear Hugger as a Black Orc Blocker.

Chaos Crushers Notes

The Darktower Slayers fell to the Deathrow Posse in their last push to make it into the playoffs. John Doe (a Human Lineman) was arrested on false charges and missed the match. The weather was nice at the beginning but changed to pouring rain by the end. The Slayers had six casualties to the Posse's two but the Posse had a key interception late in the game to stifle the Slayers offense.

The Tombstone Terrors sailed to victory over the Blood River Savages on their way to the playoffs. Nashing Norman (a Ghoul) was arrested and missed the game, he claims It Wasn't Me. Bear Jaws (a Black Orc Blocker) gained Ironman and was determined to play hard but he got pushed into the crowd and suffered a Pinched Nerve.

Tombstone Terrors Notes

The Tombstone Terrors had two star player gains with Eternal Deathwalker (a Mummy) gaining Tackle and Hideous Hyde (a Ghoul) gaining Block. The team hired Gravel Gerty (a Zombie) as a Freebooter and she did so well that they hired her on permanently. Krudding Kramer (a Zombie) was retired and Molting Magoo was hired to fill his position. The team donated 45K$ to the National Cemetery Association.

The Blood River Savages had no star player gains. Both Big Gutz (a Black Orc Blocker) and Kaz Trater (a Blitzer) were retired. Big Balz (a Black Orc Blocker) and Bear Shaggah (a Blitzer) were hired to replace them. Bear Jaws is expected to miss the next game due to his Pinched Nerve.

The Wild Ones defeated Athena's Avengers to complete their second half turn around securing another playoff game in hopes of a third Blood Bowl appearance. The weather was perfect for the two evenly matched teams. The Avengers received to start the game and on the first turn Arachne (a Blitzer) Killed Flaming Branchflicker (a Wood Elf Catcher) who was then saved by the Apothecary. In retaliation Sieran Highhair (a Lineelf) Dirty Tricked Rebecca Winters (a Linewoman) but the Ref wanted a clean game and Seiran was thrown off the pitch and no other fouls were attempted. The crowd was in the mood for blood and invaded the pitch in the first half stunning three Elves and seven Amazons. The only Serious Injury of the match was a Groin Strain suffered by Cassandra (an Amazon Blitzer) when she was pushed into the stands.

The Wild Ones had one star player gain with Tympyre Leafeater (a Lineelf) gaining +1 MA. The team hired Tent Mossmouth as a Lineelf.

The Arabica Knight fell to the Skaven Skrewballz in a game with no playoff implications. Fester O'Pustule (a Linerat) had Extra Training for this match and learned Catch. The Skrewballz snuck a two-tailed coin onto the field to insure that result of the coin flip. Slurp Frogspit II (a Gutter Runner) was in the crowd, and That Boy's Got Talent, he played for the Skrewballz. Duke Sanani (a Dragon Warrior) had a bad game, first falling on a Go For It in the end zone and then failing to catch a touchdown pass.
