The Chaos Crushers stalled the Backwata Bashas winning with 1 touchdown. The Crushers gained a handicap and were allowed to setup 12 players. Both teams were locked in battle and primarily concentrated on blocking. A key interception by Kor Skullcracker (Chaos Crushers) denied the Backwata Bashas the tying touchdown. Despite the resemblance to pitched battle the Bashas Blocker Ornery caused the only actual casualty injuring Morgan Claw. The Chaos Crushers engaged in dirty play and Grak Grim stomped on Meany and seriously injured him, when the referee was not looking.

The Wild Ones shutdown the Tombstone Terrors in a fast paced rushing game. Despite Dirty Tricks and an Interception the Terrors were unable to hold off the nimble elves. Teirelien Longstrider (Wild Ones - Wardancer) and Mylatia Treelover (Wild Ones - Wardancer) each scored 2 touchdowns. Early in the game Melgolas Stoutree fouled Rotting Ramses and removed him from play. The respite was brief as the Ramses was easily able to regenerate the injury.

The Slayers were able to exploit a clear Widezone on the Deathrow Posse's left and scored the tying run. Vorag Stuntybasher (Blitzer) scored both of the Slayers Touchdowns. The Slayers caused only 1 Casualty, Gurzag Whiparm (Darktower Slayers - Thrower) badly injured Tommy 2-Gun (Deathrow Posse - Lineman) The match was marked by a surprisingly few casualties given the number of knockdowns.

The Harbingers of Doom defeated the Stygian Abyss in a aggressive and lopsided match. The Abyss was only able to field 8 players at the start of the match. The Harbingers made every effort to bring suffering and woe to the Abyss, but failed to inflict any serious injuries. The Stygian Abyss demonstrated a successful defensive strategy and implemented damage control with skill and a good dose of the favors of Lady Luck. The Harbingers took advantage of the missing foes to run drive after drive aggressively down the field.
