The horror was committed on the corpse of Fornire Derigorn, who now serves the Zombie Master. The Wild Ones vs Chaos Crushers game this heat saw a record 81,000 Fans in attendance.

The Wild Ones shut the Chaos Crushers down 3 to 0. The Crushers held the Wild Ones to the line in a fierce battle for the ball in the center of the field during the first half. Eventually the nimble elves were able out maneuver the Crushers and gain a victory moving with a speedy passing game in the second half. Despite a large number of blocks thrown very few injuries occurred. A rock thrown by a Crushers Fan badly hurt Toldrien Oakshade. This game was marked by record setting attendance, a total of 81,000 fans!

The Deathrow Posse bludgeoned and finessed their way to a 3 - 0 victory over the Harbingers of Doom. Despite their tenacious efforts to hold the line the Harbingers were unable to turn back the tide. The Deathrow Posse's Buster Balls scored all three touchdowns of the game. The Harbinger's Lawrence Tailripper earned MVP as a special kickoff result and then again at the end of the game for a gain of 10 Star Player Points.

The Terrors shambled their way to victory against the Bombers. The final score was 1 - 0. Tim Terror, a Tombstone Terrors Wight, killed Fornire Derigorn, a Blackwing Bombers Lineman. The Bombers Apothecary was unable to save the stricken Lineman. To add insult to injury the Terrors Necromancer raised the unfortunate Fornire Derigorn from the dead. This made him the first player in the league to be turned into a zombie. The winning and only touchdown of the game was scored by Kruding Kramer, a Zombie that luckily was able to pick up the ball and score.
