The Pizza Paisanos fell to Athena's Avengers in a close played match. The Paisanos Bribed the Ref. Marsha Shaw (an Amazon Thrower) refused to be on the field at the same time as Arachne (an Amazon Blitzer) claiming I am the Greatest; Marsha sat the game out. The Avengers received to begin the game but the Paisanos Blitzed! and got the ball to score quickly. The Paisanos kept the Avengers from tying things up in the first half with the help of an Interception by Pepe Roni (a Lineman). The Avengers scored late in the second half forcing the game into overtime. The Paisanos kicked off and had a Perfect Defense (their second of the game) but could no stop the Avengers from scoring for the win.
